Welcome to our new Headmistress, Mrs Linda Sanders
Mrs Sanders is already known to many parents as the Headmistress of
The Laurels School, our neighbouring school for girls aged 11 - 18, and is very much looking forward to assuming responsibility for Oakwood School as well.
She is the founding head of The Laurels and prior to that was Head of Academics and Head of Ethos at a 4 to 18 independent school in Spain. Earlier in her career, she greatly enjoyed teaching at prep school level.
At the heart of Oakwood's vision is the belief that parents are the first educators of their children. Mrs Sanders is a founding member of the
Association for Character Education and this underpins the school's mission to nurture and develop the individual child.
We look forward to welcoming you to meet Mrs Sanders and the rest of the team at Oakwood School in its new location on Central Hill in Crystal Palace.
